Lanterns Roblox Pumpkin King: Summon, Fight and Rewards

On The Pumpkin Planet, find Hunter Crane, labeled Monster Hunter, near the Haunted Manor sign. Look beside the orange tent and wanted board for the NPC wearing red clothing and a wide-brimmed hat.

1. Approach Crane and use H / Talk.
2. Accept The Pumpkin King #1, which asks you to defeat the boss once.
3. Gather 10 Bones and 20 Cursed Seed for one summon, and enter the fight with enough Ring Energy to attack and reposition.

Pick up the quest before fighting so the encounter can also advance its objective. Treat it as preparation for an extra reward; the altar’s summon requirement is the offering recipe.

Offerings come from fighting the planet’s Skeletons, Pumpkin Fiends, Ghosts and Hex Witches, with purchases from Madame Hex providing another supply option. Find the altar decorated with candles and pumpkins beside the stone circle on The Pumpkin Planet.

1. Approach the altar and press E / Offer to open the summoning menu.
2. Select The Pumpkin King and check that you have 10 Bones and 20 Cursed Seed.
3. Choose SUMMON. If the button says NEED ITEMS, gather the missing offerings and return.
4. Wait for the summoning animation. The boss appears inside the stone circle, and its health bar appears on screen.

The 120 displayed on the entry is the boss’s level.

Stay in flight, keep The Pumpkin King targeted, and move close enough for your attacks to connect. Hover to deal damage, then reposition as incoming attacks demand. Flying too far away to land attacks gives up your damage window.

Watch the status directly beneath the boss’s health bar:

Cannon, Dex-Starr, Missiles and Battery are a useful ranged setup to reference if you own them. Their fit here is the ability to keep attacking while flying or hovering between defensive movements. Use the constructs available to you; copying specific ability levels is not part of the summon requirement. See the aerial ranged loadout for the fuller setup.

Use the lock-on key shown on your current HUD to keep the boss targeted. Keep enough energy available to reposition instead of spending everything on an uninterrupted attack.

Watch for glowing orange pumpkin projectiles trailing toward you. Create distance as they approach, but stay ready to block: retreating does not guarantee that a projectile will miss.

1. Stop attacking when a volley reaches you and turn toward the incoming projectiles.
2. Raise your shield to intercept them. Successful blocks absorb these projectiles at the cost of SHIELD durability.
3. Watch the separate shield bar as the volley hits; your health bar alone does not show how much protection remains.
4. Lower the shield after the volley and resume attacks, taking advantage of the next vulnerable window.

Updated PC control scheme: with Shift Lock in use, right-click to raise Shield without switching a construct slot. While blocking, hold the left mouse button to activate Shield Envelop, the enclosing sphere. See the PC controls guide for the control layouts and flight commands.

Repeat the rhythm of movement, hovering attacks and defensive blocks until the boss falls. A vulnerable label is an opportunity to attack, not a reason to ignore an approaching volley.

Personal chest

Deal at least 5% of the boss’s health to qualify for your own chest. Check the DAMAGE panel during combat so you can track your contribution before the fight ends. Use the boss contribution calculator if you need a damage target or remaining-damage calculation.

After victory, look under Inventory → Chests for earned chests. The chest guide covers storage and opening them.

Pumpkin King Slayer

Defeat The Pumpkin King to obtain Pumpkin King Slayer. The title can appear above your character after victory, before you return to Crane. Check Inventory → Titles → Event to view the Halloween title collection.

Return to Hunter Crane

1. Check that The Pumpkin King #1 tracker has reached 1/1 and tells you to return.
2. Follow the return marker to Hunter Crane.
3. Use H / Talk to turn in the completed quest and collect its reward.

The kill completes the objective; returning to Crane collects the quest reward. The 5% rule applies to the personal chest and should not be used as a title or quest-credit requirement.
