Lanterns Roblox Early Game Construct Tier List

Last updated:

Pick constructs for early Hero City and Market Row quests with this street-combat ranking. Saw leads the recommendations, with direct attacks and combo support filling out a practical Green loadout.

Build around S-tier Saw, then add A-tier Fist, Hammer and Chains. Platform, Sword and Jet are B-tier alternatives for positioning or attack preference. Leave C-tier Cannon and Gatling for later experimentation: their hits can be inconsistent in early Green street combat. Aim for Hammer / Chains / Fist / Saw once you meet the requirements.

Editorial recommendations for early Hero City and Market Row combat, emphasizing useful attack patterns, combo support and ease of use in the Green street-combat demonstration.

Street Combat Recommendations

These are editorial recommendations for early Hero City and Market Row combat with a Green loadout. The tiers favor useful attack patterns, reliable follow-ups and practical positioning for street quests.

S is the core recommendation; A supplies its strongest supporting attacks and setup tool. B offers useful alternatives when you prefer a different position or attack style, while C is a lower priority for this setup. These placements apply to early street combat, rather than boss fights or PvP.

Build Around Saw, Fist, Hammer and Chains

Saw: the core pick

Saw earns S tier because its circular blade travels outward and returns, giving it another chance to hit on the way back. Aim through your target and allow the return pass to connect. That attack pattern makes it a strong finish after either Fist or Hammer.

Fist and Hammer: two useful follow-ups

Fist launches a large fist-shaped attack and gives the loadout a straightforward offensive option after Chains. It is a dependable choice to keep when replacing a less useful experimental slot.

Hammer slams down at the position you aim at. Choose it when you want a heavy strike placed on an enemy's location, including when street enemies gather together. Its player-level requirement is 5, so it can join your setup before Chains.

Chains: support for the attacks

Chains earns A tier for its role at the start of the Fist and Hammer combinations. Its description specifies binding robots to stop movement and attacks; against Thugs, use it to open Chains → Fist or Hammer → Saw.

Chains requires player level 10. Until then, use the Fist and Saw you already have, adding Hammer when eligible. Unlock order determines when a skill becomes an option; it does not determine its tier. Check the construct directory for individual requirements and ability details.

When the Situational Picks Make Sense

B tier: positioning and alternate attacks

  • Platform: Pick it when an elevated firing position helps more than another attack. It creates a flat surface beneath your feet so you can stand above the street and attack downward. It requires player level 6 and costs 8 Energy at construct level 1. The tradeoff is a configurable slot that could otherwise hold an offensive move.
  • Sword: Keep it if you enjoy close-range blade swings or still need a starter attack while building toward the Chains combination. For the recommended four-slot setup, Fist and Hammer take priority as follow-ups.
  • Jet: Use it as an early attack that sends an aircraft-shaped construct toward enemies. It remains a usable alternative, but Chains provides more value to the recommended combination once you can equip it.

C tier: try after establishing your core

Cannon charges and fires a heavy explosive shell. Its shots can be inconsistent in early Green street combat, making it a lower priority for this recommended setup. Consider it an experimental swap once your main setup already works.

Gatling requires a Green Ring and player level 11, and costs 24 Energy at construct level 1. Its rotating gun offers sustained-fire appeal, but hits can be inconsistent across different positions and distances in early Green street combat. Fist is the stronger recommendation for this slot in the early Green setup.

Turn the Recommendations into a Loadout

Once the required constructs are available, use Z: Hammer / X: Chains / C: Fist / V: Saw. This keeps the setup move, both recommended follow-ups and the returning attack in your four slots.

  1. Open with Chains on X.
  2. Follow with Fist on C or aim Hammer on Z at the target's position.
  3. Send Saw on V through the enemy and allow its return pass.

That gives you X → C → V for the Fist version or X → Z → V for the Hammer version. These keys assume the slot arrangement above.

Use the street-combat loadout guide for equipping the setup, early substitutions and energy management between fights. If you are also choosing an attribute direction, compare the bonuses in Specialist vs. Vanguard.
