Lanterns Hard-Light Car: Unlock Requirements and Attacks

Car’s requirements apply together. Reaching the mastery requirement alone does not unlock it, and having enough Coins does not bypass the attribute requirements.

1. Press B to check your attributes and Ring Mastery.
2. Press G to open Constructs, then select CAR to open the HARD-LIGHT CAR details.
3. Compare each requirement with your current progress. In a current/required pair, the second number is the target.
4. Meet every mastery and attribute threshold, then pay the Lantern Coin unlock cost.

The attribute requirements are thresholds, not points spent when you unlock or cast Car. If an attribute is short, use the stat allocation guide and point planner to plan your investment. If mastery is short, follow the Ring Mastery progression guide; Ring Mastery progresses separately from character level.

Once Car is unlocked:

1. Press G and select CAR.
2. Click EQUIP, then choose one of the four configurable slots.
3. Confirm Car appears in your loadout and use the assigned key: slot 1 is Z, slot 2 is X, slot 3 is C, and slot 4 is V.

Energy 30 is the unlock attribute threshold; 28 Energy is the cost of one cast. Meeting the attribute requirement does not replace the need for enough available Ring Energy when you attack. Casting spends Ring Energy without deducting your allocated Energy attribute points.

Car’s key follows its slot assignment. For removing an existing ability or changing slots, see the Constructs loadout guide. If you need to refill your Ring Energy, follow the recharge controls.

The ground charge is a useful choice when you can line up enemies along one path. For an airborne attack against a specific target, reposition for a clear approach before activating Car’s assigned slot.
