Lanterns Roblox Locations: Area Levels, Landmarks and Travel — illustrated cover

Follow NEXT QUEST to the next quest destination, TARGET to your active objective, and the named NPC marker when it is time to return. For Prison Island, follow NEXT QUEST · PRISON ISLAND across the sea with Ring Flight and look for the LV 100–150 sign. Moon travel leads upward through space; Pumpkin Planet uses a pumpkin compass icon.

Location Directory and Area Levels

Search the 20 locations by name or alias, filter by type, and open More details for additional landmarks and navigation information. Use the level fields to compare areas with displayed ranges.

Area level signs help you judge the intended difficulty. A displayed range does not by itself mean entry is locked below that level. Choose your destination using both the area's guidance and your current quest; the directory's order is not a required travel route. For progression advice, see the leveling and Ring Mastery guide.

Read NEXT QUEST, TARGET and Return Markers

Match the marker to the task you are doing:

Marker Meaning What to do
NEXT QUEST The next quest destination Head toward the marked location or NPC.
TARGET with a distance Your active objective Move toward it and watch the distance decrease. In Iron Harbor, accepting a combat objective changes the guidance to TARGET.
An NPC name A return destination when the objective asks you to return Follow the named marker back to the quest giver. For Return to Officer Reyes, head back to the Hero City plaza.
Pumpkin icon and PUMPKIN PLANET distance The Halloween planet's direction Align your flight with the icon and watch the distance decrease.

When a combat objective changes to Return to…, head back for the turn-in even if the enemy counter already says COMPLETE. Check the quest objectives and turn-in guide for individual stages.

Hero City and Iron Harbor Landmarks

Hero City

Use the arrival plaza as your reference point. Officer Reyes stands in the plaza, while Lantern Herald stands beside its statue. For Market Cleanup, look for Thugs in Market Row's streets and follow the active objective marker to the combat area.

Iron Harbor and The Spire

Look around the harbor's buildings and shipping containers for enemies. Director Valen stands in a roadside plaza in Iron Harbor. His label includes The Spire, and the Storm the Spire quest names that combat area. Use the quest's TARGET guidance to find the objective.

For help identifying the enemies around these landmarks, use the enemy location directory.

Fly to Prison Island

At level 100, look for NEXT QUEST · PRISON ISLAND to guide your crossing.

  1. Activate your ring if it is dormant. Press R when the HUD shows RING DORMANT · ACTIVATE, then press F for Ring Flight.
  2. Follow NEXT QUEST · PRISON ISLAND across the sea. Approach the walled island beneath the PRISON ISLAND — LV 100–150 marker.
  3. Find Warden Hollis outside the main gate. Look for the yellow BLACKROCK PENITENTIARY lettering above the entrance and the quest marker near the warden.
  4. Locate the combat yard. The yellow PRISON YARD sign marks the area with nearby orange-uniformed Prisoners.

Flight consumes Ring Energy. Watch the RING meter during the crossing; when you need to refill, stop moving and use E to recharge. Stay still while RECHARGING is active, then continue once the meter has recovered. See the flight and recharge controls for help with interrupted charging.

Apex Reach and Space Destinations

Apex Reach

From a Hero City rooftop, look for the distant APEX REACH — LV 200–300 marker. Use that marker to orient your flight toward the island.

The Moon and Moon Arena

Fly above the city buildings and continue upward through Low Earth Orbit, then toward the Moon through space. The region label changes from OUTER SPACE to THE MOON as you approach the lunar surface. Lantern Boss announcements name Moon Arena as the event destination. Follow the Moon travel and raid guide for the approach, event status, and participation details.

Pumpkin Planet

When the Halloween destination is available, fly upward into Low Earth Orbit and follow the pumpkin marker described above toward the giant orange jack-o'-lantern surrounded by smaller pumpkins. For the planet's quest NPCs, shops, and local landmarks, use the Pumpkin Planet and Halloween guide.
