Constructs

Open G to inspect and equip constructs in four slots. Requirements can involve player level, attributes, Ring Mastery, Coins, Corps access, or boss drops—check the selected ability's current requirements.

Constructs level through use independently of your character and Ring Mastery. Roman numerals identify the ability level: Fist II means level 2.

Getting Started

  1. Choose your Corps and activate your ring. Enter Hero City and press R if the ring shows RING DORMANT.

  2. Take a quest from Officer Reyes. Find him in the plaza and use H / Talk. Check the active objective, then follow its target marker.

  3. Fight the required enemies. Click for Energy Blast and use Z / X / C / V for your equipped constructs.

    • Block: In Shift Lock, right-click to raise your shield. Hold left-click while blocking to use Shield Envelop. Your shield has its own durability meter.
  4. Travel and recharge. Press F to fly. When Ring Energy runs low, use E and remain still while recharging.

  5. Return for your reward. When the tracker says Return, speak to the named NPC to finish the quest turn-in. Open B to spend stat points and G to inspect newly available constructs.

Full PC controls guide

Lantern Corps

  • Standard choices: Green, Blue, Red, Yellow, and Pink.
  • Orange: Requires the Orange Lantern game pass, priced at 400 Robux.

Open CORPS at the upper left to switch. Each Corps keeps its own save, so returning to a previously played Corps preserves its progress.

All Corps and switching rules

Stats and Classes

Open B to allocate available points: + adds one and +5 adds five. The reset control is at the bottom of Lantern Build.

Classes

Your attributes determine your class independently of your Corps. Unformed means a class has not formed yet.

  • Specialist: +6% ranged and weapon construct damage, suited to projectile and weapon-focused offense.
  • Vanguard: +6% Ram & Structural Force and +3% Damage Resistance, suited to heavy impacts and taking hits.

Use the class examples to compare these roles. Example allocations are not minimum unlock thresholds; Vanguard's class resistance is listed separately from Vitality's Resist.

Combat Builds

Street quests

With the abilities unlocked, equip Hammer, Chains, Fist, and Saw. Use Chains → Fist → Saw, or substitute Hammer for Fist. Check your slot assignments before following a combo.

A Willpower-focused Specialist example uses 18 Willpower / 8 Intelligence / 7 Energy / 0 Vitality. Its offensive focus leaves Health at 100 and Vitality's Resist at 0%.

Groups of enemies

A Red loadout can combine Rage for nearby groups, Anvil for heavy hits, and Missiles for ranged attacks, with Energy Blast between casts.

Aerial ranged combat

If you already have Cannon, Dex-Starr, Missiles, and Battery, this setup supports attacks while flying or hovering. Reposition between attacks and recharge between engagements.

Leveling and Travel

Three kinds of progression

  • Character XP: Earn it through combat, quest turn-ins, daily quests, and XP-bearing chests.
  • Ring Mastery: Has its own XP bar in B → Lantern Build and progresses through combat. Slap requires mastery 6, Train 7, and Smash 8.
  • Construct levels: Rise through using individual abilities.

The leveling and mastery guide explains how these progression systems connect.

Finding your destination

Use area level ranges as difficulty recommendations. Follow NEXT QUEST for the next destination, TARGET for your active objective, and the named NPC marker when it is time to return.

  • Prison Island: Fly across the sea toward its marker.
  • Moon: Fly upward through space toward Moon Arena; check the raid notices for an active encounter.
  • Pumpkin Planet: Follow the pumpkin compass icon toward the giant jack-o'-lantern. The planet route and landmarks help you find its activity areas.

Quests and Enemies

Quest Objectives

  • Street Sweep, stage 3/3: Defeat 5 Thugs for Officer Reyes.
  • Market Cleanup, stages 2/3 and 3/3: Defeat 12 Market Row enemies per stage.
  • Restless Bones #1: Defeat 12 Skeletons. Find Old Mort beside Candy Lane.
  • Patch Work #1: Defeat 12 Pumpkin Fiends.
  • Cold Spots #1: Defeat 12 Ghosts.

Check QUESTS → DAILY for overlapping goals: High Flyer rewards flight, Street Sweeper targets Hero City criminals or robots, and Construct Specialist counts enemies defeated with constructs.

Enemy Locations

Look around Iron Harbor's buildings and containers for ranged Shooter robots. On Pumpkin Planet, Skeletons, Pumpkin Fiends, and Pumpkin Brutes occupy the fields. The enemy directory covers additional targets and behaviors.

Bosses and Summons

Moon Raids

Watch MOON BOSS and LANTERN ENERGY GATHERING, then check the named LIVE banner for the active encounter. Red Lantern and Orange Lantern are Moon raid encounters. Lantern Herald beside Hero City's plaza statue offers Choose the next Lantern Boss through an E interaction. See Moon raid participation for the travel and event flow.

Halloween Summons

At Pumpkin Planet's stone circle, approach the Summoning Altar and use E / Offer. Supply the required materials, then select SUMMON.

  • The Grave Lord — boss level 150: 24 Bones + 15 Ectoplasm per summon.
  • The Witch Queen — boss level 180: 15 Cursed Seed + 15 Ectoplasm + 20 Witch's Eye per summon.

These levels describe the bosses, not player entry requirements. Use the summoning recipes and offering planner to prepare materials.

Against The Pumpkin King, attack during VULNERABLE · STRIKE NOW. Pull away from approaching pumpkin projectiles or block them with your shield. The fight guide also covers Hunter Crane's quest turn-in.

The contribution calculator helps you check progress toward a personal chest; use the encounter's total health and your own damage on the same basis. See personal chest rules for the reward condition.

  • The Pumpkin King with a crowned orange pumpkin head, bulky shoulder armor, and a dark robe.

Lanterns Boss Chest Contribution Calculator

Calculate the stated personal boss-chest contribution requirement using encounter health and personal damage.

Contribution = 100 × personal damage / boss health. Target = boss health × threshold / 100. Remaining damage = max(0, target − personal damage).

  • Use the encounter's total boss-health value and personal damage measured on the same basis.
  • Reaching the target meets the stated damage requirement.
  • The whole-number target rounds upward for planning; it does not describe HUD rounding.

Resources and Shops

Currency

Keep your purchase currencies separate. Lantern Tokens are a separate balance from Coins, Candy, and Robux; find inventory currencies under Inventory → Currency.

Offerings

Pumpkin Planet's Skeletons, Pumpkin Fiends, Ghosts, and Hex Witches are sources of summoning materials. Madame Hex also sells offerings to fill gaps in your inventory.

Shop Choices

  • Lantern Shop: Open SHOP for Robux passes and boosts. Permanent 2x XP costs 299 Robux; permanent 2x Luck costs 350 Robux.
  • Madame Hex: At Sweets & Curses, use E / Shop to spend Candy on offerings, boosts, or chests. Open Wardrobe for clothing.

Compare shop products and durations according to whether you need summon materials, a boost for your next session, or a collectible.

Chests

Rare Chest is the lower-cost shop option at 450 Candy, and it also appears on the Halloween pass.

Reward chests go to Inventory → Chests and can be saved for later. Select a Legendary Chest to inspect ODDS % or choose OPEN CHEST.

Boss chests and Moon raids can also award extremely rare Boss Constructs. A Legendary Chest's chance at an unowned construct is not a guaranteed unlock.

XP and Luck Boosts

XP

  • Permanent 2x XP + personal timed 2x XP: Combine for 4x XP. Buying another timed boost adds duration.
  • Server 2x XP: Gives everyone in the current server double XP for 15 minutes and can stack with other boosts.

Luck

2x Luck improves the chance of rarer boss chests and construct drops. Timed Luck products specify a 2x cap; repeat purchases extend time instead of increasing the multiplier.

Find boosts under Inventory → Perks and check remaining time on the HUD. Ordinary XP boost multipliers should not be used to calculate Halloween event XP.

Halloween Activities and Pumpkin Hunt

Trick-or-Treating

Knock on doors at 20 houses across two spooky streets on Pumpkin Planet for a chance to receive Candy.

Crimson Moon

A red sky signals the Crimson Moon: a miniboss appears and drops are boosted. It is a useful time to focus on combat.

Pumpkin Hunt

Find 20 hidden pumpkins across the planet. Solve a riddle to reveal its corresponding pumpkin, and reread solved answers whenever you need them. A free reveal is available every 12 hours.

Choose door-knocking for a chance at Candy, the hunt for exploration, or Crimson Moon combat for boosted drops.

Halloween Pass

Open the pumpkin EVENT button or press 4 to view the 30-tier free reward track. Progress uses event XP earned on Pumpkin Planet, separately from character XP.

  • Halloween enemies: 6–30 event XP.
  • Event quests: 120 event XP.
  • Ordinary summoned bosses: 400–700 event XP.
  • Nightmare Bosses: Award double event XP.

Auras, Titles and Suits

Auras

Open Inventory → Auras to preview your options. You can wear one aura at a time, and it is saved when you rejoin. Browse the aura previews to compare appearances.

Titles

Inventory → Titles separates Regular and Event titles. One title appears above your character at a time.

  • Supporter: Requires the 250 Robux SUPPORTER pass.
  • Owner: Restricted to the owner and admins.
  • Pumpkin King Slayer: Earned by defeating The Pumpkin King.

The title collection covers the available names and known unlocks.

Suits

Browse Inventory → Suits, and press U to put on your Corps uniform. Zombie hero suits are purchased with Candy through Madame Hex's Wardrobe. See uniforms and Halloween suits for collection details.

Settings

Open the gear at the top right and scroll through Settings.

  • AUTO SUIT off: Stops ring activation from automatically equipping your Corps uniform. Manual Suit Up remains separate; turning this off does not immediately remove your current outfit.
  • RING ACTIVATION off: Keeps the ring ready without manual activation.
  • RING OATH off: Stops the spoken Corps oath during recharge.
  • MUSIC off: Mutes background music only.
  • SOUND off: Mutes all game audio, including music.

Frequently asked questions

Does switching Lantern Corps erase my progress?

No. Each Corps retains its own save. An unused standard Corps starts at level 1, while returning to a previously played Corps restores that Corps' progress. See Corps switching rules.

Why is my quest still active after the kill counter is full?

You still need to turn it in. Follow the Return marker to the named NPC and complete the conversation to collect the reward. The quest guide covers objectives and turn-ins.

How much damage do I need for my own boss chest?

Deal at least 5% of the boss's health. Use your personal damage, not the group's total. The contribution calculator checks the target for the encounter's health value.

Are Ring Mastery and construct levels the same thing?

No. Ring Mastery has a separate level and XP bar in B → Lantern Build and gates some unlocks. Individual constructs level through use; their Roman numerals show their ability levels. Both are separate from character level.

Does a server restart mean my progress is lost?

The SERVER RESTART notice says progress has been saved and players will be transferred to a new server. A repeating loading screen does not by itself mean your save was erased; leaving and rejoining is not a guaranteed fix for that loop.
