Lanterns Roblox Chests: Sources, Storage and Opening Guide

Use the chest directory to compare sources and Candy prices. Legendary and Rare Chests are sold at Madame Hex’s Candy Shop; Rare Chests also appear on the Halloween pass reward track.

The blue chest with silver bands and a front lock is an Uncommon Chest. Lantern Chest appears in Moon raid results under the reward text CHEST + LANTERN CHEST. Personal reward eligibility is explained below.

Deal at least 5% of the boss’s health in damage to qualify for your own boss chest. Exactly 5% meets the requirement. Use the boss contribution calculator to work out your damage target and how much you still need.

After earning a chest, open INVENTORY → CHESTS to find it. You can leave it there and open it later; the chest storage counter shows a capacity of 300.

A Moon raid results screen can appear even if you did not participate. Its ranking reward labels do not mean those items have been added to your inventory. Check your own participation and chest storage rather than treating the results list as a receipt. See the Moon raid guide for travel and event participation.

Boss chests and Moon raids can also award extremely rare Boss Constructs. The construct directory lists abilities and their drop labels.

Have 2,500 Candy ready for one Legendary Chest.

1. Find Madame Hex at the Sweets & Curses stall on Pumpkin Planet. Approach her and use E / Shop.
2. Open the SHOP tab and scroll to Legendary Chest.
3. Select its 2,500 Candy purchase button. The chest is delivered to your inventory.
4. Close the shop and press I, or select the INVENTORY button.
5. Open CHESTS and select the Legendary Chest. You can also select it from ALL.
6. Select ODDS % to inspect its reward chances, then press OPEN CHEST when you are ready to open it.

The chest grants a large amount of XP and a chance at a Legendary Construct you do not already own. A new construct is not guaranteed.

• For XP and a chance at an unowned Legendary Construct: choose the Legendary Chest. Its stated rewards directly match that goal, so save the full 2,500 Candy if that is what you want.
• For a smaller Candy purchase: the Rare Chest costs 450 Candy. That makes it easier to afford, but a lower price alone does not establish better rewards per Candy.
• For boss-earned rewards: focus on meeting the personal damage requirement, then keep the chest in storage until you want to open it.
