Lanterns Pumpkin Hunt: Riddle Answers, Locations and Rewards

1. Open EVENT → HALLOWEEN EVENT → PUMPKINS.
2. Select a numbered SEALED tile, enter your answer and press ANSWER.
3. Read the revealed location clue, then travel to the Hidden Pumpkin. Some awakened pumpkins have a vertical light beam to help you locate them.
4. Approach the pumpkin and use E / Collect. When a circular progress indicator appears, hold E until it finishes.
5. Reopen the menu and check that the numbered tile says FOUND.

RIDDLES SOLVED and FOUND track different actions. A solved clue can remain uncollected: 17 solved riddles with 16/20 FOUND means one revealed pumpkin still needs to be picked up. Milestone rewards use FOUND.

You can reread solved answers at any time. FREE REVEAL is available once every 12 hours if you need help revealing a clue.

To reach the event world, activate your ring, fly into Low Earth Orbit and follow the Pumpkin Planet marker toward the giant orange pumpkin. See the Pumpkin Planet travel guide for the approach and main landmarks.

Match the riddle number to its answer and hiding place in the directory. Where an Accepted input is listed, you can use that wording in the answer box.

Three inputs are especially useful:

• #8 — MANOR: enter Haunted House.
• #10 — GRAVEYARD: enter Cemetery. The misspelling Cemetary is rejected.
• #15 — CART: enter Wheelbarrow.

For the direction clues, #13 is West and #18 is East. These refer to compass directions, regardless of which way your character or camera faces.

Blackwood Manor

The three manor targets sit at different heights and sides of the building:

• #7 — CHIMNEY: fly up the tall exterior brick chimney to its top. Approach the pumpkin there to collect it.
• #8 — MANOR: go around to the back of the building. Search the ground between the exterior wall and the iron fence, beneath the light beam.
• #9 — GATE: check the right side of the Blackwood Manor gate entrance, beside the stone entrance pillar, iron fence and gravestones.

The Graveyard

Use the wall and entrance to distinguish these nearby targets:

• #2 — CRYPT: stay inside the graveyard walls and look behind the stone crypts, beside a dead tree.
• #10 — GRAVEYARD: fly to the graveyard’s farthest corner and descend outside the wall. A small pale-gray crypt stands just inside the wall nearby.
• #11 — GRAVESTONE: enter through the gate marked THE GRAVEYARD. Check the grass just inside, beside the entrance stone pillar and gravel path.

Stone Circle

Both pumpkins are near the edge of the stone platform:

• #12 — STONE CIRCLE: look near the standing-stone arch and purple orb lamp. The pumpkin sits on the brick paving beside the dirt boundary.
• #13 — WEST: head to the western outer stone pillar, outside the central purple rings. Search its base where the brick platform meets bare ground.

Pumpkin Patch and the farm

Find the wooden barn with a black roof, white cross-braced doors and a pale cylindrical silo beside it.

• #3 — SILO: reach the top of the silo beside the barn at the far end of the field.
• #4 — BARN: search behind the barn.
• #14 — Pumpkin Patch: search between the pumpkin rows in front of the barn. The collectible is a pale orange pumpkin much smaller than the planted pumpkins.
• #15 — CART: find the wooden cart filled with glowing pumpkins inside Pumpkin Patch. The Hidden Pumpkin is beside it.
• #16 — Scarecrow: check the feet of the scarecrow wearing a black hat, with a brown torso and outstretched black arms.

Boardwalk and Witch’s Hut

#5 — BOARDWALK is at the green-hut end of the pale wooden boardwalk through the witch’s swamp. Follow the boards toward the hut and look beside the black cauldron in front, among the glowing mushrooms.

For #6 — WITCH HUT, go behind the hut instead. Identify its sloping roof, green glowing cauldron, wooden bridge to the door and tall stone chimney. Go around the chimney to the ground inside the rear fence.

Woods and eastern hills

For #17 — WOODS, head toward the last houses of Pumpkin Court near the graveyard. Descend outside the end house on the side facing the dead woods; the pumpkin is on the ground there.

For #18 — East, cross Pumpkin Patch and go beyond its far outer fence to the eastern hills. Look on the slope in front of a dark rock wall, near dead trees and purple crystals, for an isolated orange-glowing pumpkin.

Manor road and Hunter Crane’s stall

For #19 — ROAD, start at the manor’s front gate, leave the fenced grounds and follow the lamp-lined road a short distance toward the portal plaza. Look on your left while traveling away from the manor toward the plaza. Cyan crystals are to your right nearby, and purple double rings are visible farther left. The pumpkin sits on open ground beside the road, outside the manor grounds.

For #20 — STALL, go behind Hunter Crane’s wooden stall, near the signs for THE STONE CIRCLE and WITCH’S HOLLOW. Approach the pumpkin behind the stall to bring up Collect.

These milestone rewards are separate from individual pumpkin rewards. An individual Hidden Pumpkin’s collection card lists 100 Candy and 60 Event XP. With a 2x XP status active, collecting #17 can credit 120 Event XP while its reward card still reads 60. That Event XP contributes to the Halloween Pass.

If you want a Legendary Chest, aim for 15 collected pumpkins. Finishing all 20 adds the Mythical Chest and unlocks Pumpkin Hunter. You can find the title under Inventory → Titles → Event; see the title collection guide for previews and other unlocks.

Reward chests go into Inventory → Chests. Select a chest to inspect ODDS % or choose OPEN CHEST. Opening the Mythical Chest consumes it; its description offers a large amount of XP, a chance at a Mythical Construct and a chance at Lantern Tokens. See the chest guide for storage and opening details.
